Rustic Farmhouse Christmas Porch Tour

I love decorating my porch at Christmas and I am excited to share it with you. Let me show you my rustic farmhouse Christmas porch tour. If you are here from Rachel’s blog welcome!

I love the warm glow of Christmas lights on a porch. It has been a tradition to take an evening and go drive around looking at Christmas lights through the neighborhood. So of course I decorated mine. I like to keep it simple with white lights around my door and my wood star. Simple and rustic just the way I like my decor. Today I am joining with a few other amazing ladies to share our Christmas porches so let’s get started.

Making it look Simple and Rustic

I love using traditional red at Christmas and probably always will. It just says Christmas to me. So with this I incorporated a few red touches on the porch. The thrifted red toolbox is the perfect touch on my new to me chippy white dresser I found at an estate sale recently. The cute old aluminum pitcher adds a fun rustic touch and I added my real cuttings that I got free at my local home improvement store. The rocking chairs stay out year round and I just added these cute pillows and an old tattered red quilt for a festive touch.

Create a fun vignette to welcome visitors

I love to create little vignettes and this one is fun and simple to say welcome to all that enter. I found this cute red wagon at my flea market and new it would be perfect in this spot. I kept the fencing and birdhouse and just added an old red lantern and rustic sign to make it look pulled together. This little space changes up seasonally and I love thinking of ideas for it.

The church pew and chippy table get festive

This chippy white church pew was a great find a few years ago at a local antique shop. I fits perfectly on the porch and I love that it adds extra seating too. The old wood screen door added a fun touch behind it and gave me a place to hang other items on it. I decided to go with my tobacco stick star and wrap it with white Christmas lights. I added this thrifted garland to the door and love how it turned out.

The chippy white table was a Facebook marketplace find and I wasn’t sure if I was going to keep it or sell it. I put it on the porch and fell in love so it stays for now. The fun birdhouse and old white chippy bucket with fresh greenery adds a simple rustic touch.

Other added Christmas touches

This grapevine tree was a gift from my mother in law back when I first got married. I love pulling it out each Christmas season and it is such a sweet reminder of the newlywed years. It has become a tradition and I have had it at every house I have ever owned. The cute sled is a must at Christmas and I added an old crock full of greenery next to it. These are pieces that I will pull out each year and arrange into fun vignettes that make me smile.
