Raise your hand if you love to refresh a room especially after having certain holiday decor up. I was craving a little Summer refresh and so when the Primitive Star Quilt Shop reached out to me I thought this would be the perfect opportunity. I love to shop at small primitive shops because I can usually find some very unique and fun pieces that fit my style. I know people can be leery when they hear the word primitive and immediately think that it wouldn’t fit your style. Well I am here to show you they have a lot more to offer than you think. I chose several items that would look great in almost any style. Let’s take a look.
I chose these cute grey check pillows with a ruffle trim because they screamed Summer to me. I also chose that white star pillow because if you have been following me for any amount of time you know I love stars and have them all throughout my home. They all blend so nice and I love the light and airy feeling they give this space. Pillows are an easy way to change up a space. That wreath was also the perfect choice to add in a little greenery.
Next I chose that cute lantern. I love the dark rusty color and that is can be functional as well year round. I just need to add in a cute candle to finish the look. I goes great with my crock and birdhouse.
When I first saw that cute vintage brick mold i fell in love. Yes sometimes you will find authentic vintage items in primitive shops too so that is another reason not to overlook them! I added a candle wreath and candle to make it a fun centerpiece on my island. I also got the timer candle and star holder. These candles are my favorite because they are battery operated and stay on for six hours. I set mine to come on every evening.
Finally I chose this cute hanging candle holder for my tea towel crane which they also sell. It comes with another timer candle just in a bigger size. It is the perfect finishing touch to this area.
